The following email is just another scam email opportunity to swindle some unsuspecting person, someone who may really need a job, out of monies that person probably doesn't have.
Here's the email (Note the free email account- that's a dead give-away that this is a scam):

Shopper's Crew - a Mystery Shopping Scam
Every day scammers find what they think is a new and inventive way to make an easy buck off the need of others to create income and there are legitimate Mystery Shopping companies... this email just isn't from one of them. Legitimate Mystery shopping companies have real applications and a hiring process... and NONE of the real companies send out mass emails. Nor do they use free email accounts.

Another scam email.... always, always look to see where the email is coming from and going to. I keep saying this because it's a fact - legitimate companies seeking employees DO NOT send out unsolicited emails and especially from hotmail, gmail, live or any other free account.

Another Form of Mystery Shopping Scams
The email says "Paid Surveyors", but the content indicates a 'shopping experience'. Now you might ask "Why is this a scam? There are legitimate mystery shopping companies. Right?"
Yes, there are, but this is not one of them.... and how do I know? It's pretty simple. No legitimate company sends funds BEFORE the work is done. No legitimate company sends out bulk emails. No legitimate company uses a free email account. And NO legitimate company representative would start out with a 'pardon' or concern about my mindset. That's just goofy !

Even though this spammer's email address is not offering a work at home job, it still tickled me so much, I had to post it. What really was so funny to me was the email address down at the bottom where I am supposed to make contact with the MoneyGram office..... It's an AOL account. Now that's sad if other receivers of this spam can't figure out this is a scam email.

I know better than to believe these spammer, scammer job offers, but at the rate they hit my email box, this must be a really HOT scam. Pick any company name you want, add your 'free" email address, and start spamming.... Funny thing is I don't think yahoo.com.hk is the UK. I guess these spammers don't think we are smart enough to notice those things.
This one is really weird because I don't think I am listed with the US Chamber of Commerce, but sure sounds cool and impressive, huh ?!

Do You Realize You May Be Breaking the Law ?
If you are Buying Leads and Lists, then contacting those Opt-in people about your Affiliate Program, Network Marketing Business, your Real Estate business, your Dental Services, etc ..... YOU are breaking the Law and YOU could be liable for some hefty fines if reported.
I've been on a campaign for a long time, beating my drum about the Leads and Lists Scams. But then I got this email today, SPAM, mind you.... something we are ALL too familiar with ... and it came from a lead broker company:

Odd thing is, when I went to the website posted in the email, I got a message stating "This site has been temporarily suspended."
Now what you may not know is (and nobody's telling you):
It is against the Law to send Your offer to a OPT-IN Lead that You
bought or were gifted the lead as a bonus to join some company..
Did YOU understand what You just read ? NO, then Read it again ?
You cannot buy an OPT-IN lead of ANY kind from ANYONE then
send them Your Offer because they did NOT OPT-IN for Your Offer - they Opted-IN for the Offer that the Lead seller was offering that free laptop, free Ipod, etc..
If You send Your Offer to them You are guilty of SPAM and You
are at risk of being prosecuted under the Law that YOU broke..
The leads and list companies are not telling you this, but I know the damage buying leads or lists and then sending out 'unsolicited' emails can cost. I have a friend I met through mentoring who was 'gifted' free leads as part of joining an opportunity. She sent out a swarm of emails to people on the list. The system she was using to send out the emails shut down her account.
Not only did the ISP shut down her account, they also shut down the 'system's ' account and fined them $199 to start with a threat of $799 per day afterwards and black-listing them from ever using the ISP again.
The young lady went back to the 'upline' who 'gifted' her the free leads and his comment was "oh, well we do specific training to show you HOW to use the leads without getting in trouble. If you do not do it the specific way we teach, then that's your problem."
I have another friend I met through mentoring who lost his entire website after he sent out 1000 emails from a list broker. Out of the 1000, 10 bounced back as bad. That was enough for the ISP to shut him down, fine him and blacklist him.
I have yet another friend I met through mentoring who recently discovered she was breaking the law. She got a warning from her ISP to STOP, went to her upline to discuss her concerns and her upline told her "don't worry about that. I get them all the time. Just keep doing what I am telling you."
Now I ask you this- when this woman gets slammed with a fine of anywhere from $199, $750, $1000, perhaps even PER DAY, is her upline going to cough up the fee or bear any LEGAL responsibility?
I think we can all pretty much answer that one with a resounding "NO".
This is serious business folks.
How did I learn all this stuff? I became a student of the Industry. I found a resource, Mentoring For Free. It's the only place I ever found that explained the truth about how this all works.
Some people come to this site and don't like reading what I have to say, especially when it comes to looking at some of these programs I get spammed about (yep using those lists and leads those companies sell us and then remove themselves from any liability). Some call me a dream stealer or flogger or a negative person. That's all right. I always go back to the old statement "The TRUTH HURTS" and when it hurts enough some people would rather label me than open their eyes. I know, I've been there, done that.
We can PLEAD ignorance all we want when we get caught - but that's not going to protect us.

The Purpose of a Business

Allow me ask you a question… and without intellectualizing it or thinking what you think might be a clever answer, please say out loud the first thing that comes to your mind…
What's the Purpose of a business…? Any business in the world?
Perhaps your answer might be something like, “Make money” or “To make a profit” or “To be fulfilled”.
Or, perhaps your answer might look like this, “To help others” or “To fulfill the needs of others” or “To help people solve their problems.”
If your answer to my question was similar to the first set, such as making money, ask yourself this, does your answer demonstrate a focus on you and your business or does it focus on other people? It's on you and what you want, isn’t it? To be more precise, this is your Personal Agenda.
And the second set? Your focus is on others, to help them get what they want. This is what I call coming from a place of Purpose.
The reason I ask the question 'What is the Purpose of a business?' is because your answer reveals a vitally important awareness for you… your words give you away!!
How? Because your thoughts and words are energy that people directly or indirectly feel. Have you ever thought they can consciously and subconsciously feel your real intent? That they know whether you are focused on your Personal Agenda, which is about you and what you want, or on your Purpose, which is about helping them get what they want?
To paraphrase an ancient saying…
Your words are an extension of your thoughts
Your actions are an extension of your words
And your habits are an extension of your actionsYou demonstrate who you are, and people judge and respond to you, based on your words, your actions and your habits. And it all starts where? With a thought! Everything starts with a thought. That's why thoughts are so powerful. That's why choosing how you think and act will determine how life responds to you and what you receive in life.
So the question you have to ask yourself is, are you in business for you or are you in it for other people! You can discover the truth by answering the following question.
If your solution cannot solve someone's problem, is there any reason for them to do business with you?
No, there isn't! (The definition of a problem is simply the difference between what a person has and what they want!)
So there are two important dynamics here, Purpose and Personal Agenda. It's a matter of choice. There is no right or wrong in choosing your focus to be one or the other. However, what you choose will reflect your long term results.
While you think about this, take a moment to consider the dynamics mentioned previously about focusing on yourself.
If you are focused on yourself all the time, is your life likely to be a struggle to get what you want and even to maintain it? Conversely, when you effectively focus on others, and know how to help them, do you think your intentions and desires can be achieved with less effort?
Another ancient saying says, "When you seek to serve, you ultimately serve yourself!" It's just a matter of knowing how to do it!
In Natural Selling while it's important to focus on your Purpose, it's also important not to lose sight of achieving your Personal Agenda because that is also why you are here on this planet.
The question that you must ask yourself however is, "Do I make my Personal Agenda my principal focus, or is there another way that will allow me to effortlessly and easily help others get what they want that will ultimately allow me to get what I want without any anxiety in the process of doing so?"
If you choose the latter then Natural Selling is exactly that, for the Purpose of a business, in Natural Selling terms, is not about you, it's simply about helping other people solve their problems… And that is the first principle of Natural Selling…
Principle #1 Natural Selling is helping other people solve their problems
Now, if you know how to help people solve their problems, and you can do it with your own solutions, you will achieve what? Your Personal Agenda, which is your own reason for being in business.
Selling As A Problem Solving Exercise.

It’s all a matter of attitude. You may occasionally be disappointed if you are not rewarded for your efforts, but if you demand payment for your services before you render them, you can expect a lifetime of disappointment and frustration. If you cheerfully do your best before asking for any compensation, you can expect a bountiful harvest of the greatest rewards life has to offer.

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

What is the Houston Network Marketing Meetup?
If you’re familiar with the site, Meetup.com, you know that it’s a great place to go to look for groups of interest. If you are not familiar with Meetup.com, then I recommend you go there, sign up, (it’s FREE) and start looking for groups who share similar interests as your own. You’d be amazed at the number of groups and varied interests.
Anyway, back to the question of WHAT is the “Houston Network Marketing Meetup Group”?
First, let me explain what it’s NOT. One of the requirements of Meetup is that we actually DO have meetings, get together. Unlike other marketing groups, the “Houston Network Marketing Meetup” group is not a place to come in, join, spam your business opportunity and then disappear.
We do not hold opportunity meetings. Now it may have been that way in the past, but not anymore.
So what IS the group all about? Since taking over the group September 2008, the current organizers have evolved the group into a generic opportunity for learning and sharing skills that can help ANY Network Marketer in ANY business.
We get together usually twice a month, once on the Southwest Side and once on the Northwest Side of Houston. Yes, that means getting out of the house.
We share skills, have great speakers come in like Legendary, Internationally renowned, Tom “Big” Al Schreiter, and present useful information to help anyone build their Network Marketing Business.
Through the meetings, we connect with fellow Network Marketers, all sharing the same passion of helping others and building a business, plus creating great relationships with those we meet.
Discussions include topics such as Time Management, Personality trainings, Sponsoring trainings, tax tips, etc...

A Job Offer (Scam)
You get them in your email inbox and spam folder all the time. My sole intent is to publish these emails and get these scammers information out to the world in the hopes that some unsuspecting potential victim will google search before falling for this.
These scammers will often use legitimate company names, but a free email account. But if you just realize this one thing – you will not get caught by these scammers.
Legit companies, and this includes WORLD-WIDE, DO NOT send out unsolicited job offerings to strangers using an ‘undisclosed’ list. Any legitimate company wishing to hire YOU, will expect you to complete a real job application.
Here is today’s most recent email scam. Most generally the tip off is anything to do with handling ‘funds’. I’ve highlighted the RED FLAGS for you . ~~~~
