A Job Offer (Scam)

You get them in your email inbox and spam folder all the time.  My sole intent is to publish these emails and get these scammers information out to the world in the hopes that some unsuspecting potential victim will google search before falling for this.

These scammers will often use legitimate company names, but a free email account.  But if you just realize this one thing – you will not get caught by these scammers.

Legit companies, and this includes WORLD-WIDE, DO NOT send out unsolicited job offerings to strangers using an ‘undisclosed’ list.   Any legitimate company wishing to hire YOU, will expect you to complete a real job application.

Here is today’s most recent email scam.  Most generally the tip off is anything to do with handling ‘funds’.  I’ve highlighted the RED FLAGS for you . ~~~~

I represent David Dean Inc. Ltd based in the UK. My company exports
finished leather products and other goods/services for world trade. Would you like to work online from home and get paid weekly? David Dean Inc needs a Book-Keeper in the United States,United Kingdom,Canada,South America,Europe and Asia. So I want to know if you will like to work from home and get paid for the services being rendered without leaving or affecting your present Job. We are recruiting individuals to work for the company as a Representative/Book Keeper in the countries listed above. We have customers we supply weekly in these countries and our customers make payments for our supplies every week in form of Check
and Wire Transfer.

your bank deduct your commission and forward the balance to the company.

We understand it is an unusual and incredible job position. This job takes only 3-7 hours per week and you'll have a lot of free time doing another job, you'll get good income and regular job. But this job is very challenging and you should understand it. We are looking only for workers who satisfy our requirements and we would be glad if you accept this job offer. If you feel that you are a serious, earnest and  trustworthy worker and if you want to work for David Dean Inc, a letter of employment would be sent to you and you would fill it out and send back via email. You will receive necessary information in 1-48 hours.

It would not cost you any amount because the tax and everything has been sorted out.You are to receive payments which will be sent to you by FedEx or UPS from my business partners, which would come in form of a money order/check then you are to cash it and send the cash to me via western union money transfer or money gram money transfer, all transfer fees should be deducted from the money.
